Sky Sports accused of ‘faking crowd noise’ during Liverpool vs Everton as fans share footage online

Sky Sports has been accused of ‘faking’ the atmosphere from the Merseyside derby match between Everton and Liverpool, which took place earlier today.

Liverpool’s return to Premier League play took place on Wednesday evening, and the club’s goal was to regain their 12-point advantage over Arsenal.

Everton was a team that refused to give up, and Liverpool had to dig deep to win the match under the lights at Anfield.

Diogo Jota scored the game-winning goal for Arne Slot’s team in the 57th minute, which ultimately resulted in a 1-0 victory for the team.

You’ll Never Walk Alone, the club’s hymn, was being sung by the home fans at Anfield just before the match, which created an incredible atmosphere inside the stadium.

On the other hand, viewers who were watching the event on Sky Sports were left perplexed since the soundtrack seemed to be out of rhythm with the action. As a result, viewers accused the broadcaster of “faking” the mood.

“Sky is trying to imitate the atmosphere that is so famous at Anfield,” remarked one fan. “I was unable to write it.”

A another individual tweeted: “Sky Sports proving Anfield does have a recording of the fans singing YNWA.”

Another supporter chimed in, saying, “Sky Sports has messed up the speakers at Anfield.” The myth of an atmosphere has been proven true.

This was written by another individual: “SKY SPORTS IS IMPROVING THE ANFIELD ATMOSPHERE, pay close attention.”

A fifth individual expressed concern: “Did Liverpool’s speakers just break during YNWA and show their ‘atmosphere’ for what it is, or are Sky playing fake audio over the top to promote a fake atmosphere?”

SPORTbible has attempted to contact Sky Sports in order to obtain a comment.

The victory over Everton, which was extremely important, has brought Liverpool to the point where they are currently 13 points away from winning the Premier League title.

Virgil van Dijk, the captain of the team, made the following statement after the game: “I believe that everyone wants to be in our position, and we worked so hard to find ourselves in this position.”

As we have been doing during the entire season, we need to continue moving forward, maintain the same level of concentration, and have the same attitude. Up to this point in the season, everything has been fantastic, and all we need to do is keep going.

He concluded by saying: “We have a tough one again in London on Sunday that we have to be ready for and that will be the focus right now.”

The match between Liverpool and Fulham at Craven Cottage will take place on Sunday afternoon, marking the return of Liverpool to Premier League play.
