There is a ranking of the top 30 football stadiums in the world for atmosphere.



With millions of supporters worldwide, football is perhaps the most popular sport in the world.


Some teams have established a reputation for having the greatest stadium atmospheres over the years.



For instance, in England, two of the most hostile venues for a visiting club are St. James’ Park for Newcastle United and Anfield for Liverpool.


France Football identified and ranked the top 30 football stadiums in the world in 2020.



Only two English teams appeared in the list: St. James’ Park came in at number 22 and Anfield came in at number 2.
