Chelsea ‘ready to sell 11 players this summer’ to fund ONE ‘super’ signing that keeps club in line with PSR rules

This summer, Chelsea may sell an astounding eleven players in order to raise the necessary funds for a transfer of a “super striker.”

Chelsea is looking forward to the summer transfer window, as they have already reached an incredible agreement with Manchester United for a player who was part of their transfer target list.

It would appear that the Blues are also planning to acquire Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on a permanent basis; however, due to a loophole in the agreement, the club may be required to pay a “significant penalty” in order to eliminate their obligation to acquire him during the summer.

A prominent striker is reportedly on Chelsea’s transfer wish list, as reported by The Daily Mail. The newspaper asserts that the club will be required to sell in order to comply with the restrictions imposed by the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

It is believed that they are keeping an eye on a number of players, including Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting CP and Victor Osimhen of Napoli, who is currently playing for Galatasaray temporarily.

It has been reported that Sporting has ‘lowered’ their asking price for Gyokeres, while Osimhen is estimated to be worth approximately £63 million today.

In order for Chelsea to be able to acquire a “super striker,” however, they will need to reduce their roster in order to comply with the PSR rules.

According to the report, work has already begun as they prepare for yet another hectic summer of transfer activity.

They are in possession of a plethora of options for potential sales, including Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Kepa Arrizabalaga, David Datro Fofana, Axel Disasi, Joao Felix, Renato Veiga, Armando Broja, Trevoh Chalobah, Alfie Gilchrist, and Carney Chukwuemeka, all of whom are believed to be on the verge of being sold.

With the exception of Chalobah, who was brought back here from his loan stint at Crystal Palace in January of last year, all of those players are currently away on loan.

Additionally, players like Christopher Nkunku and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who have played in the Premier League on a very infrequent basis, might leave the club if opportunities present themselves to them during the summer or autumn.

In spite of the fact that Enzo Fernandez has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, there are no plans to leave the club. Real Madrid is reportedly interested in acquiring Fernandez.
