Chelsea to offer London rivals Raheem Sterling in shock swap deal for sublime winger

Chelsea is getting ready to make a new offer for highly-rated Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, so they will step up their pursuit of him.

Despite receiving numerous bids for the winger, Crystal Palace has remained steadfast in their demand for £60 million.

Manchester United is also a major fan of Olise, as TEAMtalk exclusively disclosed, but Chelsea is putting in a lot of effort to overtake their rivals in the tace.

Chelsea is prepared to make a player and cash offer to Crystal Palace due to FFP concerns.

Rumor has it that the player in question is Raheem Sterling, who hasn’t played for 90 minutes since Chelsea’s 4-1 loss to Liverpool in January and seems uneasy at the club.

Olise chose to extend his contract with Crystal Palace despite apparently being on the verge of joining Chelsea during the previous season when his release clause was set at £35 million.

It is also thought that a newly improved release clause was part of that new agreement.

Chelsea attempts to sweeten the pot
In order to complete the deal, Chelsea may offer Sterling and other players in addition to the full amount demanded for Olise.

Graeme Bailey of TBR Football has revealed that Sterling will likely receive an offer from Chelsea as part of an Olise package.

The Blues may also bring up the possibility of adding Trevoh Chalobah or Armando Broja to the deal.

If Chelsea is unable to persuade Sterling to depart, they may end up creating another transfer headache for themselves.

There is no way in heaven that the England winger, who currently makes £325,000 a week at Chelsea, could command that kind of money at Selhurst Park.

It appears that Sterling is aware of his predicament, and he is not helping Chelsea in any way.

His current Chelsea contract expires in2027, and it is unlikely that he will leave without receiving a sizable payout.

Raheem Sterling might be a wise addition to Palace.
Olise’s departure from Crystal Palace appears inevitable, and the Chelsea deal provides them with a comparable replacement.

Even though Chelsea won’t pay the entire amount, Sterling joining the Palace team would be a welcome addition.

Although Sterling had a respectable start to the current campaign, Mauricio Pochettino has recently grown disenchanted with him.

He would undoubtedly be a better addition to Crystal Palace than anything they could find on the open market and a valuable player in Olise’s place.

Matias Soule, an Argentine winger who has been on loan at Frosinone this season and has scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 33 Serie A games, is reportedly being pursued by Crystal Palace.

According to Juventus, Soule might set you back between £25 and £30 million.
