It has been reported that a former star soccer player for Manchester United has amassed a fortune since retiring from the professional football league.
United has been fortunate enough to have some of the best players in the world play for them over the course of their history. Some of these players include David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Paul Scholes.
After hanging up his boots, a former Red Devils star who had a career that was more than respectable went on to amass a fortune for himself.
Metz, Newcastle United, Fulham, United, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland, and Lazio are just some of the teams that Louis Saha, a Frenchman, has played for in his lengthy career.
There were a total of 42 goals scored by Saha in 124 appearances across all competitions for United. During his time at Old Trafford, United won two Premier League titles and one Champions League title. Saha completed his career with United.
At the age of 35, Saha took his retirement in 2013, and he went on to establish his own company, which is called AxisStars.
AxisStars is a community that, according to their official website, “facilitates authentic, win-win connections between professional athletes and entertainers, their peers, and trusted partners.”
As stated by MSN in the year 2024, Saha spearheaded the establishment of the company in collaboration with marketeer Kate Hamer, technological executive Patrice Arnera, and Mike Farnan, who had previously worked in marketing for United Airlines.
According to reports, the company has experienced tremendous growth since then, and it is currently estimated to be worth an astounding £3.5 billion.
As a direct consequence of this, Saha’s personal wealth has also experienced a significant increase; it is currently estimated that he is worth £4.3 billion.
In 2014, after Saha had started AxisStars, he gave an interview to CityAM in which he stated, “I would have loved to be able to master my job better when I was playing, but now that I’ve retired, I still have a huge role to play sharing my experience with young players.”
“I wish I had a platform like this as a player; it would have helped me manage my career and plan for the future a lot better.”
Additionally, Saha stated in a different interview with The Guardian, “I continue to receive requests for guidance from a variety of individuals on a daily basis.” As an example, my agent called me to inform me that he has a talented French footballer that he wants to bring to England. He also asked me for guidance on how to design a training program that is specifically tailored to the player’s needs. It was me who put him in touch with people I had worked with in the past.
The player in question might be interested in joining Axis because it would allow him to look for a personal coach in his area. The process is challenging, but it is extremely rewarding because if I am able to assist one hundred thousand people, it will be the best thing I have ever done.
