Man Utd source claims Ruben Amorim has only ‘formed a bond’ with two players as dressing room rift emerges

Ruben Amorim, the head coach of Manchester United, has been rumoured to have only “bonded” with two players since his arrival at the club in November, according to a source. The players are becoming increasingly “frustrated” with Amorim.

Due to the fact that he joined United from Sporting CP almost four months ago, Amorim, who is forty years old, has been responsible for a poor run of form.

During the sixteen games that have been played in the Premier League since the Portuguese player joined, his team has a record of five wins, three draws, and eight losses. This places them in the fourteenth position.

In addition to the fact that United has not been successful on the pitch, there are apparently more significant issues at the club.

A total of approximately 250 positions will be eliminated from the club in 2024, according to a report that was published by BBC Sport on Monday. The club plans to eliminate up to 200 positions as a means of “returning the club to profitability.”

Amorim, when asked about the situation, explained that his players are partially to blame for the financial state of the club, which he says “has a lot to do with the lack of success of the football team.” Amorim was responding to some questions about the situation.

Some of his players have reportedly been “angered” by his statements, as reported by The Sun.

A source provided the following explanation: “If you went into Carrington, you would think that the players and Amorim are getting along exceptionally well.”

The truth of the matter is, however, that the players are irritated because they are being held responsible for the club’s financial difficulties.

Nevertheless, they have not yet established a connection with the manager, which is the reason why they have not challenged him.

They are making an effort to put his directives into action on the field, and he is very clear about what he wants from them.

Even though some of them are completely on board with his strategies, they have the impression that they are unable to speak up because Amorim is unwavering in his pursuit of his goals.

“They are doing what they are told, regardless of whether they believe it to be right or not “…the players have the impression that they are unable to express any displeasure because doing so would cause a problem.

According to the source, Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes, who was the captain of the team, played a significant role in bridging the gap between Amorim and the rest of the team.

Despite the fact that they were in danger of being relegated, Manchester United managed to pull off a 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town at Old Trafford on Wednesday. They will be back in action on Sunday when they play Fulham at home in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
