Bayern Munich BANNED from wearing iconic red kit against Celtic because of bizarre reason

The reason that Bayern Munich will not be permitted to wear their red uniforms when they play Celtic in the UEFA Champions League has been disclosed.

As a result of Bayer Leverkusen’s victory over Bayern in the Bundesliga championship game, the German giants Bayern were left feeling dissatisfied with their performance in the previous season.

This time around, the Bavarians are sporting a healthy eight-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga standings, and they are doing so under the direction of their new manager, Vincent Kompany.

Bayern finished in 12th place in the first phase of the Champions League competition, which means that in order to secure a spot in the round of 16, they will need to defeat Celtic, a Scottish team, over the course of two legs.

It has been reported that Bayern will not be able to wear their iconic home kit for the first leg of the match, which will take place on Wednesday. This is despite the fact that there is no colour clash between Celtic’s shirt and Bayern’s shirt.

When competing in the UEFA Champions League, Bayern Munich is prohibited from wearing their iconic home kit.
Because of the “dark numbers on the jersey,” which UEFA claims do not provide sufficient contrast for viewers, Bayern has been prohibited from wearing their home kit in the Champions League, as reported by the Daily Mail. This decision was made due to the fact that the numbers on the jersey are dark.

The UEFA ban caused Bayern to wear their away kit during their final league phase match, which was played at the Allianz Arena against Slovan Bratislava. The match was Bayern’s last league phase match.
On the other hand, the report did mention that Bayern will be permitted to use their home kit provided that the shirt numbers and names are altered in some way.

Brendan Rogers, the manager of the team, made the following statement prior to the match, which will take place at the illustrious Celtic Park: “It’s going to be an incredible game to look forward to.”

“We earned the right to play the game so we’ll have 60,000 super-charged souls in here on Wednesday night and I can’t wait for it.”

He continued by saying, “It is a big test for us, a big challenge, but we will look to bring our very best game and see what happens.”

The fact that we play at home, the fact that we always feel with the support, and especially how we’ve done this year in the competition, how we’ve been progressing at this level, we will give everything we can. Although we are aware that we are competing against a top team that features top players, our goal is to always attempt to make things extremely challenging for every team that we face.
