Fans claim the ‘game is gone’ after seeing what happened during half-time of Leyton Orient vs Man City game

While Leyton Orient were playing Manchester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup, the captain of the team, Dan Happe, participated in a contentious interview that took place during halftime.

The team coached by Richie Wellens, who are currently in seventh place in League One, took an unexpected lead at Brisbane Road when Tottenham loanee Jamie Donley spotted Stefan Ortega off his line from fifty yards out.

At the same time that thousands of Orient supporters were celebrating a momentous FA Cup moment, Donley let loose and Ortega did his best to backtrack, but the ball hit the crossbar before hitting the keeper and then finding its way into the scoring area.

To their credit, Wellens’ team was able to maintain their slim lead against Manchester City, the reigning champions of the Premier League, and they went into halftime with a one-goal advantage.

Additionally, in an interview with the BBC, Orient defender Happe was questioned about his thoughts on the events that transpired during the first half of the match. This occurred just a few moments after referee Darren Bond blew his whistle to signal the end of the first half.

This is how fans responded to the scenes on various social media platforms.

An individual stated, “Dan Happe is going to be interviewed by the BBC during halftime.” Could it be that the manager does not want him to be in the locker room? Another person wrote, “Halftime match interviews are not football.” Others agreed.

An additional individual made the following observation: “Half-time interviews with players on the pitch before they have even had the opportunity to get down the tunnel.” Enter the trash can.”

A fourth individual posed the following question: “Why does the BBC think it is appropriate to conduct an interview with the captain of the lower division team even before he has left the pitch, even before halftime?” You should try your hand at doing that to the captain of City or to Guardiola. It is incomprehensible that they disregard us.

In addition, a fifth individual stated, “What the f*** is this half-time interview by @BBCSport? Leave the f*****g players alone while they are playing.” “That was completely absurd.”
