Klopp slams ‘horrible’ Reds stars
According to Jurgen Klopp, his team disregarded his orders to give Crystal Palace a “horrible” performance. The Eagles scythed through the Reds several times before the Reds lost 1-0.
“If you would look to my teams over the years, I think you could say our pressing is usually good,” Klopp remarked following the final whistle. There is counterpress.
“We were all like, ‘How can that happen?’ in the first half. Curtis Jones was the only one who was actually pursuing, breaking their rhythm occasionally, and getting out. Apart from that, Palace could simply continue playing. Watching Liverpool was an awful experience.
Nunez’s irrational response
Darwin Nunez, a striker for Liverpool, was seen angrily kicking his seat after his team lost a fantastic opportunity to beat Crystal Palace. After being replaced, the Uruguayan striker was observing from the sidelines.
Curtis Jones, the midfield player, had a clear opportunity to equalize but mishandled his shot. Nunez vented his annoyance on one of Liverpool’s bench seats after spotting his opportunity.
Not just him, though, expressed his rage. Twitter was also used by Liverpool supporters to discuss Jones’ egregious error.
Keita leaves.
Although there are currently problems at Anfield, Werder Bremen may also be experiencing similar issues. Naby Keita, a former star of Liverpool, now plays for the German team. He left his teammates after discovering he was not included in the starting lineup against Bayer Leverkusen.
Clemens Fritz, sporting director of Werder Bremen, stated: “Naby chose to stay home rather than board the bus after learning yesterday that he would not be playing from the beginning. Tomorrow, we will discuss the options and potential outcomes with him and his representative.”
Keita left Liverpool in the summer and signed with Bremen. However, he’s only played in five games, and only one of those games was a start.
