Speculation has circulated that the England captain could return to Premier League action.
After a spectacular Champions League goal against Arsenal on his return to England this week, Harry Kane has finally spoken out about rumors linking him to a permanent move back to the nation.
It was shocking for the Premier League when Kane, who had many opportunities to stay in England, chose to leave for the Bundesliga in the summer.
After Manchester United pulled out of the bidding for the striker, rumors of a transfer resurfaced.
Twelve months earlier, Tottenham Hotspur president Daniel Levy had blocked a move for Kane to Manchester City.
There have been rumours about a return to the Premier League for Kane since his summer mega transfer to Bayern Munich. This is particularly true given that he was close to surpassing Alan Shearer’s goalscoring record.
United manager Erik ten Hag is a major Kane fan and wanted to sign him to Old Trafford. However, rumors have swirled anew that United could make a move for the player since Sir Jim Ratcliffe became a co-owner.
The England captain, nevertheless, has put an end to any doubts about his future by adamantly stating that he will remain a Bayern Munich player.
