I believe that it would be beneficial for him to depart by January, as his performance has been subpar. He was unable to control the ball pass to Fernandez, and he is deficient in numerous areas, which is having a negative impact on the team. I believe he must alter his environment in order to regain his old playing technique; this is not the way he was before.

The pace of Chelsea’s Europa Conference League campaign and the two-by-two-by-two-by-two goals against FC Noah suggest that it will not be long before supporters are singing “we’ve won it all” once more.

Chelsea has yet to acquire a trophy from Europe’s third-tier competition, and it appears that it will only be a matter of time before they rectify this oversight.

It is improbable that Enzo Maresca’s B team will fail to qualify for the final, so Chelsea supporters may as well reserve their flights and accommodations in the Polish city of Wroclaw for next May.

However, Chelsea fans may find this competition to be quite enjoyable for a single season; however, it is likely to be the last time in the near future that the club finishes in a position low enough in the Premier League table to qualify for this competition.

The novelty of defeating teams like Noah and mockingly chanting “we want 10” at their fans will soon wear off for supporters, who will anticipate that Chelsea will return to the big time next season.

Chelsea’s victory on Thursday night was the most significant in the Conference League’s history, eclipsing Nordsjaelland’s 7-1 demolition of Ludogorets last season.

Before Roma lifted the first-ever Conference League trophy a few months later, supporters could sing “we’ve won it all” when Chelsea won the Club World Cup in 2022. At that time, even the most pessimistic Blues supporters would not have anticipated that their club would be host to players such as Noah a few years later.

Cole Palmer should be spending European evenings in the Champions League, not in the press room for some pre-match poultry, as he is considered too talented to be included in Chelsea’s Conference League squad for the league phase.

Chelsea’s star player made two journeys to the smorgasbord, once for the main course and once to bring Levi Colwill, who was also not in the squad for Thursday night, back for the lemon sponge dessert.

Palmer is not hobbling.
Palmer’s supper excursions were devoid of any indication of a limp, which may indicate that he will be able to face Arsenal on Sunday following a painful knee injury sustained against Manchester United that necessitated a scan.

Although this may have been a no-contest on an epic scale, Chelsea derived some benefit from it, in addition to providing correspondents like this one with the opportunity to make terrible Noah puns, as the Armenian club is named after the biblical story.

Marc Guiu, a teenage striker, was evidently overjoyed to break his duck for the club, as he had wasted a few easy opportunities in his previous Conference League appearances.

The visitors did not only provide Chelsea with a gift in the form of Guiu’s first-half goal. Additionally, the 18-year-old contributed to one of Joao Felix’s goals by making a strong tackle that gained the host team possession at a high level.

Mykhailo Mudryk was another player who received a much-needed boost of confidence. In commemoration of his curling shot from the perimeter of the penalty area, which struck the corner of the net, he stood and nodded in approbation.
