The Arsenal debacle is well underway.
On Wednesday night, the Gunners suffered yet another defeat as they fell to Inter Milan 1-0 in the Champions League.
Mikel Arteta has now lost three of their last six games and has lost back-to-back games.
Some Arsenal supporters have had enough. The team is currently 12th in the Champions League and seven points behind the leaders in the Premier League.
Some have not given Arteta enough credit at the back for challenging for the Premier League crown the past two seasons, losing to Man City both times.
On X, the former name for Twitter, ArtetaOut began to gain popularity, and some fans shared the same opinion on talkSPORT.
Mus, an Arsenal supporter, was furious with Arteta when he called the Sports Bar on Wednesday night.
“I called you a long time ago after we defeated Leicester, and I said that we had a weak mentality,” Mus added.
“This is Ronald McDonald, the geezer. He’s a clown. The geezer must leave; he is a phony.
“Edu is gone, so we are down one. Also, this geezer must go. Everything is in disarray.
We wouldn’t have scored if we had continued to play for another five months or five years.
“Against Newcastle and Bournemouth, we each had one shot on goal. Everything is in disarray.
Money has been there for the geezer to spend. A mess.
“It feels a bit harsh, Arteta has taken you a long way,” host Jamie O’Hara remarked.
Mus went on: “No, no, no. First of all, I didn’t want him.
“He’s changed it by winning over supporters? Who is in the dark about anything?
“I didn’t want him in the first place, so I haven’t betrayed him. He is too small for Arsenal.
“Edu should never have been the sporting director, and he should never have been appointed manager.”
“That’s a bit harsh on Arteta that,” O’Hara remarked.
“The realistic thoughts are he’s up against Pep Guardiola and Man City and he’s finished second,” Jason Cundy said, his head in his hands. That is not a disgrace.
“Is it now evident that Arsenal lacks the minerals necessary to play again?”
Mus’s wish will unfortunately not come true because Arteta is anticipated to remain in place for a considerable amount of time.
The criticism of his Gunners manager infuriated Tony, who also called in.
“Arteta is causing Arsenal supporters to complain. “I don’t believe that’s from the real, authentic Arsenal supporters who have been with the team for a long time,” Tony remarked.
“You would realize what a fantastic job he’s done if you believe in the club and love it.
“Arteta has constructed a structure. Although we haven’t achieved much, we have created something.
Hearing individuals say these things irritates me. Instead of simply replacing the management, we allow them to create something.
The demand that Arteta be fired infuriated several other Arsenal supporters, who vented their ire in the YouTube comment section.
Someone else wrote: “The clueless Arsenal fans that call up ….. no wonder we get a bad name.”
Then someone else said, “That caller is a fraud.”
The Gunners’ next game is a big London derby against Chelsea, who are currently playing well, at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
