“They say we’re already out of the title race, I don’t blame them, I blame Arteta for starting him again that day”- Angry William Saliba angrily tells Mikel Arteta that he’s sick and tired of playing with £90k-p/w teammate after costing them THREE points against Newcastle

They claim that we have already eliminated ourselves from the title race, but I don’t blame them; instead, I blame Arteta for starting him today.- Furious After costing them THREE points against Newcastle, William Saliba angrily informs Mikel Arteta that he is bored of playing with a player who makes £90k per week.

Despite Arsenal’s latest defeat at the hands of Newcastle this afternoon, William Saliba maintains that the team’s chances of winning the Premier League title are still alive.

Arsenal is struggling this season and has only won five of their first 10 games in the English top flight, despite pushing Manchester City to the penultimate day of the previous campaign.

After losing their last two games, the Gunners were in dire need of a victory to restore their spirits. However, Alexander Isak had other ideas and scored the game’s lone goal in the 12th minute.

The Magpies rightfully earned all the points to climb to ninth place in the standings, while the visitors had no response and only managed one shot on goal during the entire match.

The champions are now five points ahead of Mikel Arteta’s team, who lost the opportunity to catch up to Manchester City at the top of the league. At Bournemouth this afternoon, Pep Guardiola’s team will want to extend their lead.

Shortly after the final whistle blew in Newcastle, Arsenal defender Saliba told TNT Sports, “We are all a little sad because we wanted to win today.”

Sadly, we didn’t, and we didn’t play the game we had in mind. I believe we deserved to lose today.

They were good, too, and I believe we didn’t play the way we wanted to. It’s okay; we’re still working on it and are concentrating on the upcoming week.

Saliba urged Arsenal’s team to “stay together” and reorganise so that their title challenge doesn’t falter at this early point in the season.

“We can always do better, but I think it’s a good goal, a really good cross, and good finishing.” They scored early today, and we couldn’t equalise,” the Frenchman continued.

We must remain united. We went through a phase last season where we needed to stick together and have the courage to go.

“Everyone thinks we’ll return.”

Saliba went on to discuss his own performance, saying, “I have to be better than my last game.” I wasn’t very good.

I must return to my previous level of performance. We will improve once I’m well, but I need to put in some effort to return to my peak performance.

When Arsenal returns to Champions League action on the road against Inter Milan at the San Siro on Wednesday, they will try to bounce back to winning ways.

Next weekend, the Gunners will travel to Stamford Bridge to play their fierce rivals, Chelsea, in what should be an exciting London derby.
