Man United face competition from Arsenal and PSG to sign £100 million Brazilian star midfielder

According to The Sun, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain are competing to sign Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.

Multiple sources suggest that the Magpies may need to release some of its top players this summer to maintain financial stability and meet Financial Fair Play (FFP) requirements.

Consequently, there is a possibility that Guimaraes will be moved to alleviate their financial burden, along with Newcastle attacker Alexander Isak, whom the Gunners hold a strong interest in.

Despite Arsenal’s longstanding admiration for Guimaraes, he made a £35 million switch to Newcastle United during the winter transfer window of 2022.

Newcastle may now be compelled to divest him, presenting an occasion to compensate for the aforementioned failed transfer.

Manchester United, PSG, and Arsenal are all contenders for Guimaraes.

Arsenal is encountering formidable opposition in their pursuit to acquire the services of Bruno Guimaraes, the midfielder from Newcastle United.

The French champions are anticipated to be the frontrunners in securing the signature of the Brazilian international midfielder.

PSG is eager to acquire a prominent figure as they anticipate the departure of their star player, Kylian Mbappe.

Manchester United is encountering strong opposition from Paris Saint-Germain.
Reports indicate that the French powerhouse is willing to pursue Guimaraes in order to alleviate the dissatisfaction of their fans following Mbappe’s departure.

It appears that for the past year, they have been closely monitoring the Newcastle United midfielder.

Guimaraes has a keen interest in participating in the Champions League. Arsenal and PSG are expected to have strong performances in the upcoming season, however it is unlikely that Manchester United would do so.

Ultimately, the 26-year-old’s decision may hinge on his preference for either of the two sides.

His performance in the French league while playing for Lyon was impressive, leading to rumors that he prefers to return to that team.

This would be a significant setback for Newcastle, but they would be eager to raise revenue during a challenging period for the club.
