Following a solid start to the Premier League season, Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has shared details of his chats with Reds boss Arne Slot.
In order to improve as a defender, Trent Alexander-Arnold has stated that he wants Liverpool manager Arne Slot to be tough on him.
Despite his continued offensive contributions, some have criticized Alexander-Arnold’s defensive prowess. In Liverpool’s triumph over Bournemouth over the weekend, he set up Luis Diaz for his second goal, his 100th goal assist for the team overall.
With just one loss in their last five games, Slot’s squad presently holds the best defensive record in the Premier League. Despite losing against Nottingham Forest, they are still one point behind the leaders.
After his current contract ends in the summer, Alexander-Arnold has been linked to a transfer away from Anfield, with Real Madrid, a huge Spanish team, reportedly keeping an eye on his status. Whatever his footballing plans are for this time next year, he’s still honing his craft under Slot.
