Chelsea news: Jamie Carragher rips into Gary Neville after the Blues pull off a stunning victory in the closing minutes of a legendary Premier League match at Stamford Bridge.

Jamie Carragher took a serious jab at Gary Neville following Chelsea’s thrilling victory over Manchester United on Thursday. With ninety seconds remaining, the Blues were down 3-2, but they somehow pulled off the victory.
Neville has paid a price for calling Chelsea the “blue billion pound bottle jobs” in the Carabao Cup final in February. Immediately following his full-time shift at SW6, Carragher took to X (Twitter) to rephrase the phrase, this time to his friend’s detriment.
“Billion bound bottle jobs [laughing face emoji]” was all Carragher wrote. Neville didn’t comment on the game right away.

Chelsea’s fragile team was further berated by Neville’s now-famous tirade, which said they had shrunk and would “regret it for a long, long time.” His remarks are extremely important for United’s own team, especially following an even more stunning collapse.
After blowing an early 2-0 lead in front of their own supporters, the visitors had placed Chelsea in a situation where they were on the verge of a major crisis. Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes’ goals turned the tide of the match, leaving Chelsea vulnerable following Moises Caicedo’s error.
Then, in a way that was all too familiar to those in attendance, the Blues folded. However, Chelsea was given a late ticket to rejoin the game after Diogo Dalot fouled Noni Madueke. Palmer appeared to have saved a point with his second of the match before chaos broke out.
After failing to capitalize on a counterattack even after the penalty, United exposed themselves to a counterattack in the hundredth minute, which Chelsea were able to thwart. Palmer was open inside the area when the subsequent corner was awarded, and his deflected shot gave Chelsea an unlikely three points.
