“Benching him was the biggest mistake I’ve made in my professional career, even after coming in a a substitute he gave us what no other players was able to provide… He’ll be starting regularly from now onward”: Erik ten Hag regrets benching ONE Man United’s star against Crystal Palace yesterday

In the Premier League on Saturday night, Manchester United and Crystal Palace battled to a depressing score of 0-0.
In the first half, the Red Devils had numerous opportunities to score, but they were unable to break the tie.

Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho shook the woodwork as goalie Dean Henderson made many outstanding saves.

Without Andre Onana’s heroics, United may have easily lost the match as Palace became the superior team after the hour mark.

In the 65th minute at Selhurst Park, the Cameroonian star made a spectacular double save to deny Eddie Nketiah and Ismaila Sarr.

Onana made two more saves during the game in addition to his double save. With 50 touches, he had an 83 percent passing accuracy.

Ten Hag claimed that Onana is “so explosive” and that he made a “unbelievable” save to give United a point following the draw.

During an interview with BBC Match of the Day, he stated: “Amazing save, Andre is so explosive.” He’s a fantastic stopper. There are two actions in one.

“Now that we all see how good he is. We witnessed his excellent responses and quick reflexes during the second half when he made the save.

United’s goalless draw in south London has caused them to fall into the bottom half of the league table.

With seven points, they are now third outside of the Champions League slots in the rankings in 11th place.
