In an attempt to win the EFL Cup at home, Manchester United will host Barnsley on Tuesday night at Old Trafford. The Red Devils’ recent stunning 3-0 victory away to Southampton should lift their morale going into this midweek cup match.
Erik ten Hag is anticipated to make numerous changes for this match, although he will continue with his preferred 4-2-3-1 configuration. In the latter third, Ethan Wheatley might have the opportunity to lead the line for the Mancunian giants.
