(3-4-3) New Manchester United formation Under Thomas Tuchel as INEOS set to Make final Verdict on Ten Hag after Twente match tomorrow

When Manchester United hosts FC Twente on Wednesday night at Old Trafford, they will be attempting to have the best possible start to their 2024–25 Europa League campaign.

The Red Devils played a goalless draw with Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday night, making their last three games across all competitions undefeated.

The 20-time English champions will now focus on playing football in Europe. They will play the 2009–10 Eredivisie winners in Manchester in the competition’s inaugural game.

In advance of Man United’s match against Twente, who are getting ready to play in the Europa League for the first time in ten years, Sports Mole compiles the latest information on injuries and suspensions.

Leny Yoro

Present: Not in
Foot-related injury type
Potential date of return: December 3 (against Arsenal).

Yoro’s fractured metatarsal during a preseason match against Arsenal will keep him out of action until at least the beginning of December; he may make his club debut against the Gunners.

Tyrell Malacia

Status: Unknown Injury type: Knee
Potential date of return: Not specified

Malacia is still not ready to play again after missing the entire previous season owing to a significant knee injury that required two surgeries. However, on Friday, he was able to participate in the club’s warm-up.

Luke Shaw

Status: Very unsure
Injury type: calf
Date of possible return: September 25 (instead of Twente)

Shaw’s calf injury kept him out of action early in the season, but there’s a slim chance the left-back may be available for the European match at Old Trafford.

Lindelof, Victor

Status: Slight uncertainty
Injury type: toe
Date of possible return: September 25 (instead of Twente)

Due to a toe injury, Lindelof hasn’t played yet this season; however, after returning to training last week, there’s a chance the Sweden international will be included in the squad for this game.

The list of Manchester United’s suspensions
There are no Man United players suspended for the European match.
