20 Highest-Paid Players in Serie A

In conclusion, one of Europe’s most competitive leagues, Serie A is regarded as one of the “Big Five.”
In all of Italian football’s top division, just two players earn more than £200,000 a week.
All ten of the players in the top ten are either Juventus, AC Milan, or Inter Milan players.
One of the world’s most competitive football leagues to watch is Serie A in Italy. As one of the five major leagues in Europe, along with the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, and Ligue 1, Serie A has consistently appeared to be more equal than its rivals.

Any of AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Lazio, Roma, or Napoli might theoretically challenge for the championship before the season even begins. There are very few leagues that can provide such open competition, especially in the elite football bracket. The majority of the time, two to four teams have a distinct edge over the others.

Information from Capology

20th–16th
Stefan de Vrij, Maxence Caqueret, Mario Hermoso, Gianluca Mancini, and Joaquin Correa

According to Capology, three of the 20th–16th highest-paid players in Serie A earn the same amount each week. Former Napoli and Lazio attacker Joaquin Correa of Inter Milan, as well as Gianluca Mancini and Mario Hermoso of Roma, who joined the team last year after his contract with Atletico Madrid expired, all make £105,000 a week.

Maxence Caquaret, a Frenchman, apparently makes £108,000 every week, which is slightly more than the three previously named. The midfield player, who had previously played his whole career with Lyon, signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Como earlier in the January transfer window.

Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij, who has now played Serie A football professionally for more than ten years, is just above him in terms of earnings. He signed a contract earning slightly more than £114,000 per week with Inter Milan in 2018, and he has been there ever since.

15th–11th
Romelu Lukaku, Paulo Dybala, Marcus Thuram, Federico Dimarco, and Ismael Bennacer

In addition to de Vrij, Paulo Dybala, a playmaker for Roma, and Ismael Bennacer, a midfielder for AC Milan, both earned about £114,000 a week, placing them in 15th and 14th place, respectively. Federico Dimarco, a vital component of Simone Inzaghi’s Inter system, is marginally higher than them at £120,000 a week.

Dimarco’s teammate Marcus Thuram, a Frenchman who joined the squad on a free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach, makes four grand more per week than Dimarco does. Thuram receives the same £124,000 weekly wage as Romelu Lukaku, who is presently playing for Antonio Conte’s title-chasing Napoli team after formerly playing for Inter and Roma.

10th–6th
Bremer, Alessandro Bastoni, Piotr Zielinski, Douglas Luiz, and Alvaro Morata

Alvaro Morata, a striker for AC Milan, is the first player to make it into the top 10 highest-paid Serie A players. The Spaniard signed a £135,000-per-week contract with Milan just last year, but he has two stints with Juventus under his belt, so he is familiar with Italian football.

According to Capology, Douglas Luiz of Juventus, who joined from Aston Villa in the summer, and Piotr Zielinski, a midfielder for Inter Milan, make the same amount as Morata. The Polish international is paid £15,000 more than the next-ranked Juve defender Bremer, who makes slightly more than £150,000 a week.

Alessandro Bastoni, a center-half for Inter Milan, is another defender who is near but not quite in the top five. Amazingly, the left-footed Italy international’s weekly salary of £165,000 is insufficient to place him among the top five earners in the league.

Fifth to First
Dusan Vlahovic, Kyle Walker, Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolo Barella, and Lautaro Martinez

Kyle Walker will be an AC Milan player for the remainder of the season. The English right-back has moved to the San Siro on a loan agreement that would see the Rossoneri cover his £175,000 per week wage in full, according to the Mirror, which makes him the league’s fifth-highest earning.

Only four players in Serie A presently earn more than that on a weekly basis, with three of those players being from Inter Milan. Dead ball specialist Hakan Calhanoglu gets £180 grand a week, £15,000 less than his teammate, midfielder Nicolo Barella. However, club captain Lautaro Martinez is ahead of them both. He makes £270,000 a week, making him one of just two players to make over £11,000,000 in a year.

However, Dusan Vlahovic, a striker for Juventus, is the most paid player in Serie A. The Serbian international, who was once with Fiorentina, earns an incredible £360,000 a week, which is approximately £90,000 more than Martinez of Inter.
